Sydney Chapman’s Trip
Minneapolis:
February 12, 2026 to February 15, 2026
I often wonder about people in hidden corners of the world who are asking the same questions that we ask about life, suffering, and love. Whether it is a small child or an elderly man, I cannot shake the thought that their hearts yearn for proof that God loves them and that they are not insignificant, their suffering not wasted. As the Church, we pray that there will be someone to lay their hand on their shoulders and show them the Gospel, in their language and in a context for the Holy Spirit to show them that God has always seen them and pursues them personally! I always want to participate in opportunities to keep my heart and mind tuned to God’s heartbeat for the world, even on these short-term trips!
