Sydney Chapman’s Trip
Turkey:
May 15, 2022 to June 15, 2022
A few years ago, Brandon asked the staff if they felt gifted to be an equipper or a planter - in essence, has God gifted you to be a long-term presence at a local church to encourage and equip other believers, or has He called you to be sent out from that church to take ground in new locations, to seek like-minded people of peace in those regions, and to start new churches.
Since that day, God clarified for me that I am an equipper who needs to be sent: a disciple-maker who will encourage the Body of Christ and is willing to be sent with them to new areas.
When I had the opportunity to hear the stories of women who had been on last year's missions, my blood was stirred with excitement with a front-row view of how God is moving in every corner of the Earth. I longed to go but decided to play my part by praying and supporting the teams going. Now, God has opened for me to go on my first out-of-the-country mission trip along with this team!
I'm most excited to see God stir up the hearts of the Turkish people and to see Him move in moments that allow for no other explanation than His love for them and His power to add them to His family. Your support means the world and leaves us speechless. Thank you for being a part of the mission; we can't wait to share our stories with you when we get back!
