MAKING DISCIPLES FOR LIFE
When we talk about making disciples for life, we’re not talking about adding more meetings to our calendars or checking off a spiritual to-do list. We’re talking about transformation—about helping people walk with Jesus in a way that reshapes who they are and what they live for.
That kind of lifelong discipleship doesn’t happen by accident. It starts when someone truly experiences God—not just hears about Him, but learns to recognize His voice and follow His lead. It takes root when they develop a prayer life that’s honest and ongoing, where conversation with God becomes a way of life, not a last resort. And it grows when they know how to open Scripture for themselves, not just for information, but for transformation.
Those three elements—experiencing God, learning to pray, and reading the Word—form the core of this process. This isn’t a course to complete; it’s a path to walk. You’ll start with Experiencing God to tune your heart to His. Then we’ll move into A Praying Life to cultivate habits of real, personal prayer. Finally, we’ll spend focused time building biblical literacy with BiblicalTraining.org's How to Study the Bible, taught by Dr. George Guthrie, so that every person, no matter their background, feels confident engaging with the Bible.
This rhythm is flexible enough to meet people in the real world—in all its interruptions, transitions, and seasons. Whether you're leading college students, young adults, or long-time believers, this process is meant to be simple, repeatable, and deeply relational.
There’s no pressure to be perfect. Just be present. Trust that God is already at work and that He often forms disciple-makers through faithful, small steps.
