You Came | Week 4 | John 5

We can become familiar with church and Scripture while keeping parts of our hearts hidden from God. In John 5, Jesus heals a man at Bethesda and reveals his authority to give life and forgive sin. This Christmas message invites us to see the Father’s heart in Jesus and receive the life he offers through faith. We cannot make ourselves right with God, but we can bring our need honestly to the Savior who came for us. As we draw near through Scripture, prayer, and trust, we’re called to surrender what we have been hiding and let his love reshape our hearts and lives.
