Who Do I Say You Are? | Easter | John 13:18-38, John 21:6-14
April 4, 2015

In John 13:18–38 and John 21:6–14, the failures of Judas and Peter invite us to consider how we respond to Jesus. Both turn away from him, yet Peter returns to the one who offers life. We are challenged to recognize the path of sin, receive God’s undeserved favor, and embrace Jesus as both Savior and Lord. His resurrection gives us hope beyond shame and the need to appear perfect. As we bring our struggles into the light, we can receive the love, forgiveness, and new identity found in Christ, and extend that same grace to others who need someone to walk beside them.
