Thy Kingdom Come | Week 1 | Matthew 13:1-23
March 25, 2017

Life’s hurts and competing demands can leave our hearts guarded, distracted, or worn down. In Matthew 13:1–23, Jesus’ parable of the sower invites us to consider how we receive God’s Word. This message explores the hard, rocky, thorny, and fruitful places in our hearts, pointing us to the Savior who understands our weakness and can transform us. Growth comes through his Spirit as we surrender to him. We’re invited to listen honestly, bring our wounds to Jesus, and release what keeps us from following him. As we remain close to Christ, we can grow in humility, love, and a faith that bears fruit in others’ lives.
