The Revelation | Week 3 | Revelation 1:9-20
April 25, 2015

In Revelation 1:9–20, John’s vision reveals Jesus in the midst of his people, glorious in power and attentive to their pain. As John shares in suffering, kingdom work, and patient endurance, we are reminded that faith does not remove us from a broken world. The risen Christ meets us there as our great high priest, knowing our weakness and inviting us to draw near. His Word searches our hearts, bringing both conviction and comfort. As we see him more clearly, we are called to respond with repentance, worship, and honest grief, trusting the one who has overcome death and remains with his church.
