The Letters | Week 4 | Revelation 2:18–29

In Revelation 2:18–29, Jesus addresses a church he commends for love and service, yet whose tolerance of false teaching is drawing people into sin. His searching eyes see what good deeds cannot hide, and his patient invitation to repent calls us out of darkness and into life. We are challenged to examine what we have allowed to hinder our pursuit of him, holding truth and love together as we respond. Our hope rests in Christ’s saving work, not our own righteousness. As we hold firmly to the gospel, we can turn from compromise and keep taking steps of faith toward the life he gives.
