The Date | Why We Miss It | Luke 2:36–38

Brandon Williams considers Anna’s recognition of Jesus in Luke 2 and asks why people can miss God’s presence among them. He challenges listeners to seek God’s transforming work in their hearts and through their lives, rather than only asking for personal benefits. Remembering God’s past faithfulness can renew gratitude and expectation for what he will do next. Brandon calls believers to serve instead of demand service, help solve problems instead of merely criticize and reject gossip that tears others down. Prayer, Scripture and daily surrender keep hearts responsive to God. The message invites listeners to refocus on Jesus and become willing participants in his work.
