Taking Ground | Week 5 | Joshua 7

Israel’s defeat at Ai exposes the devastating reach of Achan’s hidden disobedience. Joey Fennell walks through Joshua 7, showing that sin affects others, will be discovered, draws us through desire, and carries consequences. The message challenges self-confidence and the tendency to blame God instead of examining our own hearts. Failure need not be final when we respond with trust, confession, and repentance. Drawing on Hosea’s picture of the valley of trouble becoming a door of hope, Joey points to Jesus as the way into restored fellowship with God. Listeners are invited to stop hiding sin and take their next step toward him.
