Sent | Week 3 | Acts 1:1-9

The people closest to us and those we’ve never met both matter to God. In Acts 1:1–9, Jesus promises the Holy Spirit’s power and sends his followers as witnesses from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth. This message opens our eyes to God’s heart for every nation, including people who have never heard the gospel. Each of us has a part to play as we learn, go, send, welcome, mobilize, and pray. We’re invited to examine what holds us back, offer our resources, and cross familiar boundaries with Christ’s love. A shared meal, a generous gift, or a faithful prayer can become a response to his call.
