Promises | Week 1 | 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, Genesis 1:1-3

It can be easier to believe God loves someone else than to receive that love ourselves. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 5:17–21 and Genesis 1, this message explores the new life God creates through Christ. Jesus bears our sin so that we can be reconciled to God, and his Spirit begins patiently reshaping our desires. Becoming new does not mean becoming instantly perfect. We can receive correction without living under condemnation. As we turn daily toward Jesus, confess to someone trustworthy, make wrongs right, and welcome the truth of his Word, we’re invited to live from his grace and share that reconciling love with others.
