Opportunity | Week 5 (Be Part of the Plan) | Acts 6-8

We don’t have to know exactly how a situation will unfold to take the next step of faith. In Acts 6–8, Philip serves neglected widows, carries the gospel to Samaria, and explains the good news of Jesus to an Ethiopian official. In this week’s message, Jon shows how God works through ordinary believers who are willing to serve and follow the Spirit’s lead. Our responsibility is obedience, even when we cannot control another person’s response. As we notice the people and opportunities in front of us, we can choose to participate in God’s work, trusting him to bring purpose even through the brokenness of our lives.
