Opportunity | Week 1 (Let Them Lay) | Exodus 20, Micah 5

When familiar routines fall apart, we have an opportunity to notice what has been holding our hearts. In Exodus 20 and Micah 5, God calls his people away from idols and points them toward the Shepherd who will be their peace. In this week’s message, Brandon invites us to let fallen idols stay down, turning from self-sufficiency and misplaced trust to Jesus. Renewal begins as we make room to know the Father and embrace his purposes. As we allow God to search our hearts, we can release the things that compete for our devotion and follow the Spirit into faithful service beyond the church walls.
