Marriage Matters | Week One | Ephesians 5:31-33

Marriage can be a source of deep joy, yet everyday frustrations can pull our attention away from what matters most. Ephesians 5:31–33 connects the oneness of marriage to the relationship between Christ and the church. In this week’s message, we’re reminded that marriage is God’s idea, a good gift through which he shapes us to reflect his love. As we focus on honoring God, we can learn to serve our spouse without expecting something in return. Building trust, setting aside time for each other, talking honestly, and offering affection our spouse welcomes help us grow toward a marriage where we are fully known, loved, and accepted.
