Lock and Load | Part 3 | Isaiah 6:1-8
August 3, 2013

Before praying, “Jesus, use me,” we need to encounter the holiness and grace of God. Brandon Williams follows Isaiah’s call in Isaiah 6:1–8, tracing how seeing God clearly exposes sin, moves Isaiah to cry out, and prepares him to serve. God responds by taking away his guilt and commissioning him to go. The message connects that cleansing with Jesus’ sacrifice, through which sinful people receive forgiveness and righteousness. Comparing ourselves with others cannot replace facing God’s standard. Listeners are encouraged to repent, receive grace, and offer their lives to God, trusting the true King to provide as they share his light with the world.
