Freedom can sound like a distant idea when we’ve grown comfortable with the things that keep us bound. Sometimes, we know something needs to change but are afraid to step outside what feels familiar. In this week’s message from John 8, Pastor Russ reminds us that Jesus offers freedom from the bondage, wounds, and experiences that shape how we see the world. When we allow God’s Word to become our lens instead of our pain, fear, or past, we can begin to experience the freedom Christ purchased for us. Even when freedom feels uncomfortable or uncertain, we can choose to trust what Jesus says is true and walk boldly in the freedom He offers.
