In Rhythm | The Table Has Been Set | 2 Samuel 9

Brandon Williams uses David’s kindness to Mephibosheth in 2 Samuel 9 to picture God’s invitation into fellowship through Jesus. David welcomes Jonathan’s son to his table because of a covenant, not because Mephibosheth has earned a place. Brandon connects this grace to Christ’s sacrifice, which opens access to God and frees believers from guilt and shame. God’s kindness remains faithful, and his invitation offers spiritual nourishment beyond material comfort. The message challenges listeners to recognize how pride, fear, laziness, busyness and taking grace for granted keep them away. Brandon calls them to accept Christ’s invitation and seek daily fellowship through Scripture and prayer.
