Life can look full and blessed while our hearts still feel far from God. In Exodus 33, Joey explores Moses’ refusal to move forward without God’s presence and the ways we settle for substitutes: comfort, busyness, influential leaders, or cherished things that crowd God out. The message challenges us to examine the distance created by unconfessed sin and to recognize that material success cannot measure closeness with God. Jesus is our mediator, inviting us into a personal relationship with him. We’re encouraged to set aside distractions, spend ten quiet minutes listening to him, confess what needs to change, and respond to God with willing obedience.
