Heart and Soul | Week 8 | Genesis 11:1-9

Jesus creates a community whose purpose reaches beyond building a name for itself. Brandon Williams explores Genesis 11:1–9, contrasting the selfish ambition at Babel with the united, serving, and generous church formed by Christ and the Holy Spirit. Celebrating God’s faithfulness, the message shows how changed hearts move people from division to unity, greed to generosity, and spiritual death to life. The gospel gives us a new identity and draws us into God’s work together. Listeners are invited to receive Jesus, surrender their own kingdoms, and take their next step of obedience, including publicly identifying with his death and resurrection through baptism.
