He Is… | Week 1 | John 8-9

In John 8–9, Jesus reveals himself as the light of the world, meeting both a woman facing condemnation and a man born blind. His mercy calls us out of darkness and into a life of following him. We are invited to examine the blind spots in our hearts, the desires that shape our choices, and the religious habits we may mistake for a relationship with God. Our hope rests in Christ’s grace, received through faith. That grace also moves us toward repentance as the Spirit changes our desires. Holding to Jesus’ teaching, we learn to walk in his light and serve others from gratitude.
