Marriage can reveal the habits and attitudes that are easy to overlook in ourselves. In Ephesians 5:22–33, Paul presents marriage as a picture of Christ’s faithful love for his church. In this week’s message, Butch invites husbands and wives to consider the portrait their relationship is painting. Growing in lasting unity begins with allowing God’s Word to shape our own hearts and learning to honor one another. Through Christlike love, mutual respect, cooperation, and shared responsibility, we can put God’s love into practice at home. As we submit to him day by day, our marriages and homes can help others see his character more clearly.
