Growth Over Process | Week 4 | Luke 14:25-35

It’s easy to make room for Jesus while keeping control of the rest of our lives. In Luke 14:25–35, Jesus calls those following him to count the cost, take up their cross, and give him their first allegiance. This message invites us to consider that cost in light of the love and mercy Christ has already shown us. His sacrifice makes surrender a reasonable response, even when following him is difficult. As we honestly examine our priorities, time, and energy, we can ask God to reshape our lives around his purposes and walk alongside other believers who help us keep pursuing him day by day.
