Keeping up appearances can leave us exhausted and make it harder for others to see Jesus. Through Isaiah 29:13 and Christ’s warnings in Matthew 23, this message asks whether our words reflect what is happening in our hearts. Jesus exposes hypocrisy, misplaced priorities, and outward religion that neglects justice, mercy, and faithfulness. His grace also invites us into a relationship that changes us from within. We don’t have to pretend to be perfect.
