Gideon | Week Two | Judges 6:11–16

Brandon Williams examines Gideon’s call in Judges 6:11–16 to address the excuses that hinder people from following God. Gideon’s fear, painful circumstances, doubts about God’s willingness and sense of weakness echo struggles believers face today. Brandon encourages listeners to let Scripture reveal God’s character rather than defining Him through difficult experiences. He explains that God’s strength works through weakness and that a troubled past does not prevent His transforming work. Pointing to Jesus’ cross and resurrection as evidence of God’s love and power, the message calls listeners to trust Christ for salvation, surrender their excuses and take their next step of faith.
