Frauds, Fans, and Followers | 1 John 2:1–6

Following Jesus begins with a changed heart and grows into a changed life. Sean Fox explores 1 John 2:1–6, inviting listeners to examine the difference between religious appearances, admiration for Jesus, and a committed relationship with him. Christ’s sacrifice frees us from trying to earn our place through performance, while genuine faith produces repentance and action. Faithful followers seek him privately through Scripture and prayer and share his good news publicly through evangelism and discipleship. Growth takes time, and the goal is progress as the Holy Spirit works within us. The message encourages honest self-examination, renewed commitment, and practical next steps toward becoming more like Christ.
