Framework | Week 2 | Matthew 9:14-17
July 26, 2014

Jesus invites us into a living relationship rather than a routine of religious activity. In Matthew 9:14–17, Brandon examines the bridegroom, the patch of cloth, and the new wineskins. Prayer, worship, and Scripture are ways to encounter God, but they can become empty rituals when we lose sight of their purpose. Jesus cannot simply be patched into one compartment of our lives; he calls for our whole surrender. His truth renews our thinking and helps us live as forgiven children of God. The message challenges listeners to pursue Christ himself, receive the fullness of his grace, and let the Holy Spirit transform every area of life.
