Letting go of what feels familiar can be hard when we cannot see what comes next. In Matthew 16:24–27, Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow him. In this week’s message, Brandon explains that this surrender makes room to continue in the presence of the One who has already saved us. As we taste God’s goodness through his Spirit, we begin to desire more of the life he offers. We can respond by examining what fills our days, releasing what hinders our walk with Jesus, and making time to grow in his presence, trusting that he is worth following.
