Some obstacles feel so large that taking even one step seems impossible. In 1 Samuel 17:20–26, David sees Goliath in light of the living God while Israel’s army retreats in fear. This message invites us to face our challenges honestly, remember God’s power, and join belief with trust that leads to obedience. Faith can move forward with trembling hands and unanswered questions. Through Scripture, prayer, and surrender, we learn to discern God’s direction rather than simply follow our feelings. Whether the next step is asking for help, beginning to forgive, or trusting Jesus for salvation, we’re encouraged to follow the God who meets us in the struggle.
