Every Person Has A Purpose | Week 5 | Genesis 4:1-15

Generosity begins with the heart we bring to God. In Genesis 4:1–15, Cain and Abel’s offerings reveal the difference between going through the motions and worshiping in faith. Giving God our first and best expresses trust in him, turns our attention toward his kingdom, and challenges the hold possessions can have on us. Yet this message reaches beyond giving to the grace that makes a changed heart possible. Jesus’ sacrifice offers forgiveness and reconciliation where sin has brought separation. As we receive that grace and turn toward him, we can offer our time, energy, resources, and lives with gratitude, trusting him to work through us.
