Every Person Has A Purpose | Week 2 | Romans 4

In Romans 4, Abraham’s faith points us toward a hope that rests on God’s promises. Righteousness comes as a gift through faith, rather than through our achievements or outward religious activity. That truth calls us to humility, admitting our need and trusting what Jesus has done for us. Abraham faced the reality of his circumstances while believing that God had power to keep his word. We can bring our own fears and unanswered questions to the same faithful God. As we fix our eyes on Christ’s death and resurrection, we find a hope bigger than our circumstances and confidence that he will be with us.
