Christmas at Connection 2019 | Week 2 | Genesis 1:1-3

Familiar Christmas scenes can make it easy to overlook the wonder of who was lying in the manger. Beginning in Genesis 1:1–3, where God speaks light into darkness, Brandon traces the hope fulfilled when Jesus enters a world darkened by sin. This child is the light of the world, the good shepherd who willingly lays down his life, and the source of life that lasts forever. Through faith in him, we can receive forgiveness, become God’s children, and know the Father. As we reflect on Jesus’ birth, death, and resurrection, we are invited to respond with renewed awe, grateful worship, and trust in the One who sustains us.
