Christmas at Connection 2018 | 2 Samuel 7:12-16, Luke 1:51-55

How might Christmas change the way we see our place in the world? Through God’s promise to David in 2 Samuel 7 and the songs of Luke, this message points us to Jesus, the promised King who sets his people free and invites them into his purpose. Mary’s song celebrates God’s mercy and his faithfulness to the promise that all nations would be blessed. As we receive Christ’s forgiveness and the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives, we’re called to share that grace with others. We’re encouraged to draw close to God in prayer, trust his promises, and carry the light of Jesus into our everyday relationships.
