Built to Last | Week 2 | 1 Peter 2:1-5, Romans 15:1-7
June 11, 2016

Walking into church can feel daunting when we wonder whether there is room for our wounds and imperfections. In 1 Peter 2:1–5 and Romans 15:1–7, believers are pictured as living stones, built together through Jesus and called to welcome one another as he welcomes us. This message explores the acceptance, purpose, and new identity we receive in Christ. Grace invites growth, including patient, loving correction that seeks restoration. As we turn from harmful words, hunger for Scripture, and use our strengths to support others, we can help create a community where people belong, grow, and make the love of Jesus visible in everyday life.
