When faith feels weary, trying harder can leave us even more exhausted. In 1 Peter 2:1–10, Jesus is the precious cornerstone on whom God builds a living people. This message calls us to depend on the Holy Spirit for the life and character we cannot produce ourselves. Received through faith in Christ, the Spirit continues to fill and strengthen believers as they surrender to him. Drawing also from Acts, we are invited to hunger for God’s presence, seek prayer, and offer him every single part of our lives. The struggle may continue, but we can walk together in the power and freedom Jesus gives.
