Broken | Week 3 | Luke 10:25–37
October 24, 2015

In Luke 10:25–37, Jesus tells of a wounded man and a Samaritan whose compassion moves him to act. The story challenges us to see the hurting people around us and ask whether our love for God is shaping how we treat them. As God transforms our hearts, he moves us beyond prejudice, personal comfort, and religious appearances into genuine care for others. We cannot earn salvation or love people as God does through our own strength. We need Jesus and the power of his Spirit. This week, we can respond by noticing someone’s need, offering practical mercy, and helping them encounter the love of Christ.
