In Jeremiah 8, God calls his people to return from the sin that is leading them away from him. Their refusal to listen exposes a deeper problem of the heart: holding to lies, ignoring God’s Word, and treating serious wounds as though nothing is wrong. This message invites us to face our own sin honestly and respond to God’s loving call. Jesus has borne sin’s judgment so that we can come to God through faith in him. As we recognize our sin, take responsibility, and surrender, his goodness draws us toward a new way of life. Returning to him becomes a daily walk of trust.
