Bigger Than Me | Week 4 | 1 Timothy 6:3-19
August 26, 2017

The next purchase can promise satisfaction, yet leave us looking for something more. In 1 Timothy 6, Paul calls us toward godliness with contentment and warns about the love of money. This message invites us to examine what holds our hearts and let gratitude for Jesus shape our generosity. God gave his Son for us, and his Spirit works within us to make us more like him. As we trust his goodness, appreciate what we have, and take a practical step toward giving, we can loosen our grip on possessions and invest in what lasts, sharing in God’s work of bringing people to Christ.
