Bigger Than Me | Week 3 | Matthew 7:28-8:4
August 19, 2017

Feeling rejected can make it hard to believe there is a place where we can be honest and welcomed. In Matthew 7:28–8:4, Jesus steps beyond the crowd to touch and cleanse a man with leprosy. This message shows his heart for people who have been pushed aside and calls the church to reflect that same grace. Through his cross and resurrection, Jesus makes a way for us to come near and receive forgiveness. As we surrender our pride, listen to those who are hurting, and share what Christ has done, we can become people others feel safe approaching with their struggles and their need for hope.
