Bigger Than Me | Week 1 | Matthew 11:28-30, Luke 19:1-10
August 5, 2017

When life already feels heavy, faith can become another burden if we think we have to fix ourselves first. In Matthew 11:28–30, Jesus invites the weary to find rest in him. His welcome of Zacchaeus in Luke 19 shows the grace that reaches people and changes their hearts. This message calls the church to reflect that welcome, trusting the Holy Spirit to do what our own efforts cannot. As we bring our burdens honestly to Jesus and turn toward him, we can also walk alongside others with love, patience, and hope, helping them encounter the Savior who came to seek and save the lost.
