Behind Enemy Lines | Week 6 | 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8
February 6, 2016

Repeating the same mistakes can leave us wondering whether lasting change is possible. In 1 Thessalonians 4:1–8, Paul urges believers to keep growing in holiness, including sexual integrity and care that refuses to exploit others. This message takes sin’s consequences seriously while reminding us that obedience grows from God’s love already given in Christ. We depend on the Holy Spirit as we learn to live in that new identity. We’re invited to bring Jesus both our sin and the broken places beneath it, seek our security in him, and let his Word guide our choices. Growth continues as we repent, receive his grace, and take another faithful step.
