Faith can become familiar enough that we stop asking how it shapes the world around us. In 1 Thessalonians 1:1–3, Paul celebrates work produced by faith, labor prompted by love, and endurance inspired by hope. This message reminds us that the church is a people made new through the Father’s love, Christ’s work, and the Spirit’s power. Every believer has a meaningful part to play. Our service grows from salvation freely received through Jesus. As we examine our priorities, welcome God’s loving correction, and take the next step of obedience, we can love others actively and keep going with hope rooted in his promises.
